Please feel free to pop along to the Dannevirke South School Staff Room on Tuesday 23 February at 2.30pm for the Whanau KiVa meeting.  All welcome.

There will be a SOS Meeting at 6pm in the staffroom tonight.  SOS hold fundraising events to raise money for the students extra activities like the buses for swimming.  New members are always welcome.  Come along with your ideas and feel free to join us.

There is a teachers only day on Friday 12 March 2021.  Children do not attend school on this day.

At assembly on Friday badges will be handed out to councillors.  Last year’s interschool athletics certificates will also be presented.  All welcome.  

We had a surprise visit from a former pupil and now the drummer for Six60 – Eli Paewai, who visited our Year 7 and 8’s today. A really good inspiration. IMG-2004.jpg

Tennis coaching has been cancelled for tonight

A Grade players will be mixed between schools again this year for all year 7/8 players.  If you are interested in joining this, squad training starts at the netball courts on Wednesday 10th March from 3.30pm – 4.30pm.  A note will come home tonight about this.
